Cuyahoga River Restoration

(formerly Cuyahoga River Community Planning)

Restoring, revitalizing and protecting the Cuyahoga River watershed and nearshore Lake Erie

The MIDDLE CUYAHOGA watershed includes part of the Cuyahoga River mainstem and Fish Creek, Plum Creek, Breakneck Creek and Potter Creek, 132 square miles in Summit, Portage and Stark Counties.

From Lake Rockwell to the Gorge Dam, this part of the river has calm portions where fish abound, as well as some of the best whitewater kayaking in the state.
